Chambers Management Group has been in business since 1981 and has earned recognition in North Carolina and South Carolina as one of the best contracting firms. Providing construction management, general contracting, renovations, and site improvements. 

In the past ten years the company’s area of focus has been in Charleston and Columbia, South Carolina, and the surrounding areas. CMG works in several construction sectors including educational institutions, housing authorities, retail buildings, office complexes, industrial parks, hotels, medical facilities, adaptive re-use and restoration, and sustainable construction projects. 

The contractors at CMG have built and renovated thousands of square feet in the low country and upstate, including the City of Charleston, The City of Columbia, Greenwood, Mount Pleasant, West Ashley, North Charleston, and Summerville.

Robert B Chambers Owner/President- 1981 to Present

Focused Primarily in the General Construction Area. Preferred contractor with multiple government entities and school districts. Extensive qualifications as a Developer/Contractor of both commercial (Office Buildings/Shopping Centers Land) and Residential (Single, Multi-Family and Pre-engineered) Real Estate.

Certifications include: Licensed General Contractor, SC; Licensed Builder, SC; Bonded and Insured; CM-BIM (Building Information Modeling)

Harley Scott Waddell, Construction Management Supervisor- Upstate February 2021-Present

Scott supervises construction on our projects in the upstate with over 34 years of experience. He manages the construction schedules, inspection of all work and works effectively with contractors, engineers, architects, and inspectors. Scott is a valuable team member coordination our projects in the upstate.

Shane Lee, Vice President-2020 to Present

Shane Lee is a driven professional with over 8 years of commercial experience in engineering, construction, project, and program management. He oversees planning, design, and construction of our projects ensuring our team delivers client needs with utmost attention to time, cost and quality. Shane holds a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina.

Ernie Hutchins, Construction Forman- 2013 to Present

Ernie delivers invaluable onsite experience and duties. Primarily overseeing and leading crews he ensures the quality of work and correct practices are maintained above and beyond the standard. He works closely with our project managers and site crews retaining streamline communication needed though out the construction process for sustained success.

Chad Lee, Virtual Construction Manager- 2019 to Present

Chad has traveled across the country working with construction companies to help document their building processes. Now with the introduction of new scanning technologies he is helping us take our documentation to new levels of accuracy. Photography, Videography, Virtual Tours, and BIM (Building Information Modeling). Chad handles it all. Helping us cut costs and bring our clients the most accurate and up to date views of their projects.

Darlene Schneider, Operations Manager, August 2021 to Present

Administrative Construction Operations Manager for over 10 years. Lives and works in Mt Pleasant SC with her husband and family. Active in church and community. Darlene handles all administration responsibilities for the Group including but not limited to Accounting, HR, assistance in procurement/bidding processes and scheduling.
